The story
Founded in 1962 by Anton Volgger with headquarters in Taisten.
1989 Relocation to the current company premises in Welsberg.

Log yard
The company Volgger OHG has a large stock of local roundwood (origin is the Alpine region).
All dimensions and lengths up to 13.50 m are available at any time.
Processing
The logs are debarked and cut to the desired length. Cutting is carried out using the latest technology, including a tandem band saw with fully electronic control and yield optimization.
The recutting is carried out on the variable circular saw system up to cutting heights of 180mm and lengths of up to 9m.
A twin-shaft machine is available for larger cutting heights of up to 270 mm. In three drying chambers, the sawn timber can be kiln-dried or, upon request, heat-treated (HT ISPM 15 FAO).

The logs are debarked using a debarker. The ends and ends are then cut off using a cross-cut saw.

The desired product is then cut to size using ten variably adjustable circular saws.

With the multi-blade circular saw, the product can be recut to the desired width.

The finished products are then separated and sorted.

Stacking
The products are stacked fully automatically.
Chipping system
Residual wood is automatically transported to the chipping plant and then sorted into wood chips and sawdust.

Package cross-cut saw
The finished package can be cut to the desired length using the package cross-cut saw.

In the three drying chambers, up to 80 m³ can be dried or heat-treated simultaneously.

The finished packages are ready for loading.
Products
Sawn timber of all dimensions up to a length of 13.50 m. Trade in glued timber (glued laminated timber/bilam) and planed timber.
